Bathroom Remodeling Project: Miami Home Transformation

This Miami bathroom had not been updated in over 15 years. The space felt dark, cramped, and outdated, with worn-out tile, an inefficient layout, and fixtures that had seen better days. The homeowners wanted a complete transformation—a bright, modern, and functional bathroom that maximized the available space while adding a touch of luxury. They also needed durable materials that could withstand Miami’s high humidity and daily use without losing their appearance.

We began by carefully removing all existing fixtures, tile, and drywall, making sure to protect the rest of the home from dust and debris. The plumbing and electrical systems were updated to meet current Miami-Dade codes, and the layout was reconfigured to create a more open, spacious feel.

A waterproofing system was installed in the shower area, followed by cement backer board and premium porcelain tile on both walls and floors. We chose large-format, light-colored tiles to make the space feel larger and brighter, with a decorative mosaic accent in the shower niche.
