Kitchen Remodeling Project: Miami Home Transformation

This Miami kitchen was functional in layout but had not been updated in over 20 years. The cabinets were worn, the countertops outdated, and the appliances inefficient. The space felt dark and uninviting, with poor lighting and flooring that had seen better days. The homeowners wanted a complete refresh – new cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting, and flooring – while keeping the existing layout to minimize costs and disruption. They also needed durable, easy‑to‑clean materials that could withstand Miami’s humidity and daily family life.

We began by carefully removing all old cabinets, countertops, appliances, and flooring, protecting the rest of the home from dust and debris. The existing plumbing and electrical systems were inspected and updated where needed to support new appliances and improved lighting, all while respecting the original layout.

New custom‑style cabinetry was installed with soft‑close drawers and doors, maximizing storage within the existing footprint. We chose a light, neutral finish for the upper cabinets and a contrasting color for the lower ones to add depth and make the space feel more open. Quartz countertops were selected for their durability, stain resistance, and low maintenance – ideal for Miami’s climate.

A new undermount sink with a modern faucet was installed, along with energy‑efficient stainless steel appliances, including a refrigerator, dishwasher, and gas range. Under‑cabinet LED lighting and new ceiling fixtures brightened the space, while large‑format porcelain tile flooring completed the transformation, offering durability and easy cleaning.
